Jordan’s Youth Team Begins Training Camp in Doha
The Jordan national youth team (under-20) has started a training camp in Doha, Qatar, ahead of the upcoming Asian qualifiers. The camp, which runs until August 21, includes a friendly match against Saudi Arabia.
Details of the Camp
The team trained on Sunday evening at the Aspire Stadium, under the guidance of coach Ibrahim Helmy. The 23-player squad includes: Mohammad Shaloul, Qasim Al-Halaha, Noradin Yasin, Omar Al-Khatib, Saud Abu Zaid, Ali Al-Naqi, Qasim Al-Amir, Adib Ramadan, Hussein Al-Ziabat, Mohammed Hendouma, Nasser Al-Djagani, Mhand Moustafa, Mohammed Batair, Qais Al-Shawshara, Mohammed Abu Rmeih, Zain Al-Adouh, Assem Al-Jawhari, Eiad Al-Emawi, Mahmoud Al-Tameez, Malek Al-Bastanjy, Abdulrahman Al-Zaghaibeh, and Uda Al-Shhadah.
These training camps and friendly matches are part of the efforts by the Jordan Football Association to ensure the team is well-prepared and supported for the upcoming qualifiers. The qualifiers are scheduled from August 31 to September 6, with Jordan grouped alongside teams from Tajikistan, Bahrain, and Afghanistan. The qualifiers will be held in Bahrain.
